Ave got baptized on November 21, 2012. It was a very special day! It was also very crazy for me that one of my babies is old enough to get baptized. Grandma DeAnn gave the talk on baptism. Shawn baptized her which I am so grateful for. Before the baptism Shawn kept telling Ave that he didn't know how to baptize someone in english because he had only ever done it in spanish. When he was going to start the prayer he was trying not to cry, Ave kept looking up at him wondering what he wasdoing. When me and Ave got in the dressing room she said "Mom I was scared that dad really didn't know how to do it in english and Iwas going to tell him that is was ok if he did it in spanish, but then I saw that he was just crying." It was so funny! Uncle Justin and Uncle David were the witnesses. Uncle Tyler gave the talk on the Holy Ghost, and Grandpa Keith was able to confirm her. In the circle was Grandpa Keith, Shawn, David, Justin, Tyler, Trent, Preston, Payton, and Bro. Webb. Grandpa gave her a nice blessing and it really was just an awesome day!
