Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favorites! My kids are all old enough that they love everthing about Halloween.........carving pumpkins, trick or treating, and all that comes with it. Jake had been looking for star wars costumes since last year. He wanted everyone to be in this theme and everyone was on baord until Ads decided she wanted to be a princess but we finally talked her into being princess patimae. We went to the trunk or treat at our ward and then went to a few other houses.

Broken "I" shipping

Shipping went really well! The weather was fabulous, and most of the cows were kind of excited to be found. Beef was at a pretty good price, so that makes things a little happier:) It was good to have my parents back in Blanding for shipping. Dave promised that by next year they would have an eye in the sky looking for the cows. Jake and Ave get pretty bitter because they have to go to school and miss shipping but after being in Colorado for2 weeks that is just what has to happen.

Justin won the UGLY beard contest this year!

I tried my hand at preg testing the cows:)

Aves birthday!

I can't believe that my Ave is 9! She is such a good and easy girl! She is always willing to do what I need her to and is nice to anyone and everyone. She is so smart and is doing so well in school, her teachers are always telling me how much they love her and her attitude to be kind to those around her. This year her teacher even told me that Ave stayed in from recess to help a kid in her class finish their work. She is a bit of a hoarder and I haven't taught her yet why it is so nice to keep her room clean. Ave I am so glad that you came to our home! I love you so much! Thanks for being you......
Ave wanted to test out the somewhat new bowling alley for her birthday. We let her invite a few friends and fed them pizza and then had cupcakes. It was a pretty easy party:) I am so glad that my parents were able come and celebrate.

Colorado!

After the first 5 days we get to come home and shower, rest and relax! The kids keep asking when we get to go back to Colorado. This week is a good one because the cowboys spend most of their time down by the house so we get to see them a little more.
