Adison

I always want to do a post on my kids when it is their birthday. I always think that I will write down all their funny sayings and then I never do. I cannot believe that my baby girl is 3! I know everybody says this but it seems like yesterday that she joined our family. She is so fiesty and stubborn that a lot of days we have more than one collision:) In the past year she has grown up a lot! She is potty trained and has been since the end of October she was so easy to potty train and hardly ever had any accidents. Adison loved her binkies and I think that I loved them just as much as her. Shawn wanted me to break her of them before Wyatt was born but I was just to scared. It was so nice that I could say who wants a nap and she would run and jump in her bed saying "I do, I do!" It was the same at bedtime. When she really wanted her binky especially when she knew it wasn't time she would say "but mom my mouth is sooooo cold!" When Wyatt was sick with RSV Shawn took my kids up to Salt Lake and Shawn and Michele broke her of them, I was told that she did awesome and that her mouth only got cold a couple of times. She has started being a major story teller, one of my favorite stories that she tells is about one of Shawns horses named badger that she has ridden with Shawn a few times but he is only 3 so she has never been on him by herself. She has told it a couple of times but the first time was my favorite. We were driving out to our winter range looking for the cowboys so we could feed them lunch. Adison asked me who dad was riding and I told her I thought he was on badger. She got all fired up and the story went a little like this "that DANG BADGER! the other day I was riding him and he bucked me off, and broke my bone!" "He did" I asked
"Yeah my arm right here. and I had to wear a cast for a long time!"
She has told a variation of that story a couple of times but pretty much whenever she would hear the name badger she would refer to him as "that dang badger!"
We read books everynight at bedtime and the other night it was really late and so I told her that I was only going to read one book she jumped up on the bed and said "no you will read me 2 books you slacker!"Those are just a couple of the funny stories that I remember since I forget to write them down......but I am going to do better. We sure LOVE this little girl and are so glad that she is part of our family!
