Shawns cousin was nice enough to take Ave to a horse show. They had to start off by taking a written test, then they had to walk the horse around the arena in a halter, then ride the horse around in the arena, then they did a couple of speed events. Ave had so much fun! She especially loved using their pony chaquita. She did awesome and I was so proud of her! She did really good in poles where she took second in her group. She now wants to do this every time they do it but I am not that good at getting horses ready for things like this so she is going to have to talk to her dad! We sure love our Ave!
